For new PhD students, rooms in the Max Planck Guesthouse are available upon request at a reasonable rate for up to one month. For permanent housing, general advice is provided by the International Office at the MPI-CBG to all students of the International PhD School.
Health insurance is obligatory for all students in Germany. The International Office at the MPI-CBG provides advice and assistance to all students of the International PhD School to obtain appropriate coverage.
